Our name is RCCG Praise Assembly. We are a member of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Worldwide. We were officially separated from our Mother Parish, Chapel of Praise in Far Rockaway, New York, in 2007. We are located at 133-34 228th Street, Springfield Gardens, New York.
Praise Assembly’s mission is to propagate the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to all nations starting from our remote community. One way we fulfill our mission is through praising the Almighty God. If you worship with us you will feel the serenity and atmosphere of true praises. Singing, dancing, clapping of hands, and praising God is the opium of a Christian worship. This is a sacred moment in which the heart is consecrated and the mind immune to peace. The Bible says in Phil: 4:7 that the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. At Praise Assembly, our joy and peace of mind comes from the fountain of peace which is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who said in John 7:38 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
God is the one that keeps us in perfect peace. When we come to his presence with praises and dancing, it erodes and disintegrates our sorrows; it suppresses and wipe away our sadness; it eliminates and disposes the stress of our lives. No wonder Jesus Christ said I will keep in perfect peace, those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in him. When we come before our God, it is a brand-new day, it is a brand-new beginning because in the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy!
